When Christ gave His life for us all, He gave from love, not for it.
I am Gomer.— Hosea via J. Smith.
God likes you. Well, yeah, He loves you, so there’s that. But God truly delights in you. He made you, and every inch of you is adorable to Him. Okay, yes, He doesn’t like everything you do, and neither do you, so whatever. But God doesn’t just put up with you, He actually likes you. God is your biggest fan. He likes your style. He thinks you’re funny, He likes the way you dance, and He loves just being together and talking about anything and everything.— Unka Glen (unkaglen.tumblr.com)
His grace is sufficient for me, for His strength is made perfect in my weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Does this verse talk just as much about our times of our own strength as it does our weakness?
May I be glad to make known to all the world my weaknesses, so that He alone may be glorified through my life.
I’ve seen with my own eyes my God heal the sick, make the blind see, the crippled walk, the deaf hear, the dead rise.
I’ve heard of how He restores relationships, marriages and families, supplies our every need and want.
I know He is more than capable, and greater than all my circumstances. Able to redeem unimaginable loss.
I’ve felt His presence over my life, transforming me from the inside out.
So why am I so anxious about another set of exams?
